“The tragedy of life is not death but what we let die inside of us while we live.”
– Norman Cousins
Most people go to extraordinary lengths to laugh off, ignore or deny the fact that the only certainty in life is Death. But preparing for that eventuality, having the opportunity to deal with unfinished business, can be one of the most sensible, rewarding acts of a lifetime and can propel us into a new and vibrant partnership with life. On his deathbed, Socrates encouraged his followers to practice dying as the highest form of wisdom.
I will be facilitating IF I HAD BUT ONE YEAR TO LIVE, a workshop I have conducted internationally over 40 times. It is a powerful workshop that packs a punch and encourages the participants to explore what is really important in their life – to stop pretending that life is forever – and create the possibility of being fully alive while you still inhabit your body.
Testimonials written by previous participants and the impact this workshop had on their lives:
I feel NEW, FREE, ALIVE…. I am able to Allow and Let go. I feel like a Flower that has learned to open and is finally allowing the sun to warm its tender insides. – Michele
You have no idea how much your “A YEAR TO LIVE” workshop opened my heart. – Elise
When I went to the workshop I was going through a series of changes. I was able to see the “deaths” of various parts of my cherished dreams. I opened to seeing myself as less identified with all these “lives” and the death of them. I now see that confronting loss gave a clearer future vision. – Anonymous
